Our story ironically sounds like a commercial. We each met the love of our life on eHarmony.com.
Mike had spent a few months browsing through the site, trying to find a great match. Heather on the other
hand had never tried a dating website before and was fairly skeptical but decided to give it one month
out of curiosity. Well, she didn’t need more than a month because she was matched with Mike immediately,
the first and only guy she would ever meet online.
For more than a month, we chatted our way into each other’s hearts. On October 13, 2004, it was finally time to meet in person. After a competitive round of mini golf, we grabbed coffee at Starbucks and talked until they closed. The relationship continued to blossom from there, thanks to the loving support of our friends, families, and of course our animals. On December 16, 2005 Mike proposed to Heather by singing a song he had written for the occasion, and without a doubt in her mind, she said yes! |
